The
Secret of Successful Failing
SCHOOL PROGRAM
For Teachers, Administrators, Educators and Parents
Failure
is one of the greatest ways to build self-esteem. It sounds crazy
but it's true. By learning how to powerfully deal with failure,
children discover what they are really made of. This discovery
builds real self-esteem. Learning how to cope with and prosper
from failure is an essential life skill. Creating an artificial
environment without failure simply delays the need for this life
skill until children are out of the nurturing environment of school
and out in a world where failure is at times inevitable.
What if
failure was the greatest thing that could ever happen to a child?
Successful Failing means knowing how to turn failure into a powerful
force for success. What if the adversity was actually the advantage?
In this
workshop participants will learn:
- How
to reframe failure for students so that it becomes a positive
experience.
- Positive
strategies for feeling powerful during failure and how to stop
blaming the circumstances.
- How
to refocus a student's attention in a failure so that it highlights
learning and strength and becomes a source of self-esteem.
- Practical
tips and techniques for guiding children to fearlessly embrace
the outcome of any situation, be it a success or a failure.
By the
end of this program, participants will have the necessary skills
to help children navigate through the realities of their circumstances.
Participants will be confident in assisting them as they struggle
with failure and the limiting beliefs that usually accompany failure.
You might even pick up a few strategies for yourself!
